Hire The Wharfedale Packhorse for your own trips: 16 seats plus driver

The Wharfedale Packhorse can be hired on a self drive basis or with one of our drivers subject to availability. Competitive rates from just £50.

The Wharfedale Packhorse is operated and administered by the Upper Wharfedale Community Interest Company with support from DalesBus, Dales & Bowland Community Interest Company and funded with the help of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Sustainable Development Fund, Dark Horse Brewery, Wharfedale Brewery, pubs throughout Wharfedale and Littondale and the Wharfedale Beer Festival.  Unlike most community minibuses, we receive absolutely no funding from Central Government nor North Yorkshire County Council.  We are entirely dependent on private finance and the goodwill of our users.  Collection tins are available on the bus - please give generously.

The Wharfedale Packhorse provides low cost Saturday night bus services, connecting villages throughout Upper Wharfedale with Ilkley and Skipton, as well as regular chartered trips to various destinations.

The 17 seater minibus is available to hire for local people to have a trip out and for visiting groups to enjoy the Yorkshire Dales, with one of our drivers, subject to availability.
